I think Aero is boring because everybody wears it! Just like Toms or vans or I <3 boobies bracelets
I don't see why we just walk around in bags if we want to match gosh.
I mean I shop at fun stores like love culture and wet seal.
But all the people I see walking out of AF or whatever are all wearing toms and pencil skirts and what not! And I am dressing with what I like not just some overly expensive cheap top with a sewed on label! Just so you can be cool!

Because Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, and Hollister are all the same - a brand with simple &easy fashion clothes that are over priced. For some reason kids label these brands as "cool" -perhaps because they are expensive so only rich kids can afford them -exactly what a popular kid usually is, rich. Thus when it comes to HS cliques and fitting in with the "in" crowd, kids wear these clothes to fit in. All this created hype with brands such as A&F, resulting in most kids in High Schools wearing the same. Everyone wearing these brands tends to look the same (just like the girls who wear UGGs tucked into sweatpants with high ponytails/buns and head bands or girls who buy a chanel quilted purse for the sake of buying a designer purse- for the sake of the brand's name), no individuality and no real style because it's all mass-produced and easy fashion. You just wear a brands that's considered "in" and suddenly you are fashionable. I think that's why these brands & people's fashion sense who are wearing them are criticized so much.

Also have a read at this girl's blog post:
http://citytermxpressions.blogspot.com/2...-mall.html
She explains it all pretty well from her personal experience.

P.S. I am not a Abercrombie hater, but I don't wear nor like the brand either.

The REAL reason aeropostale is disliked is because it is low class and cheap. There a pecking order when it comes to these clothes
4)Walmart
3)Aeropostale
2) Hollister/AE ,
1) AF/armani,versace (girls its usually those and Wet seal, Forever 21 etc.)
Aeropostale is usually worn by people who cant afford better
