Should it be illegal for a really fat guy to fart repeatedly in a cramped elevator?
Or would it be considered "freedom of expression" and protected by the First Amendment?
No, it wouldn't stink less, I never claimed it would stink more. I just wanted to make this person fat.

Bigot? You should not rush to conclusions.

Would it have stunk less if it had been a really thin guy? I don' think so. You're a bigot and you need to ask this question of your psychiatrist.

Pruitt-Igoe was a block of high rise apartment buildings built in St. Louis in 1951. They were the best, most modern mass housing units ever built up to that time. The media hailed it as a "City of Tomorrow." Although the original plans called for both Whites and Blacks to live in the apartments, it wasn't long before the high crime rate convinced all the Whites to go somewhere else.

The remaining residents of Pruitt-Igoe pissed and crapped in the elevators. Urine leaking through the floors of the elevators into the driving machinery caused some of them to stop working. They also strewed garbage in the hallways, broke out all the windows, and stripped so much metal off the roofs that they leaked when it rained. They threw tin cans and broken coke bottles into the street. None of them went to jail for their disgusting habits, so evidently for _them_ it was "freedom of expression," but things got so nasty in Pruitt-Igoe that the health department condemned it and the government had to tear it all down in 1972.

Afterward, the NAACP tried to blame the residents' behavior on "structural racism," excusing what they did on the theory that the high rise apartments were not designed with the right social ideas in mind. For example, the elevators weren't sufficiently well ventilated to prevent them from stinking if people kept using their floors as toilets. Also, the roofs were made with metals that had an appreciable market value as scrap, so how could "entrepreneurs" be blamed for "mining" it and selling it off?
