I met a new friend (scorpion) on the Music social network, we share common interests.I have noticed he added me on his social network, follows me on twitter etc.So far so good and we are communicating through email in quick response. As we both are music producers, we have given each other complements, encouragements and inputs toward this area. He told me his Birthday is coming up in two days from now. I know little about scorpion and I am a Leo. I think we both are very connected despites the opposite star sign. He called me a star few times, and I called him the same way. :-) Thanks everyone for the answers

I too am a musician and admire your achievements. His too.

Leo and Scorpio are actually in SQUARE aspect to each other at 90 degrees. Leo and Scorpio are both Fixed Mode Signs which means you are great at organizing but stubborn. But with compromise and cooperation anything can be done. So I also admire your ability to "rise above" the rest when it comes to being mutually appreciative of each others talents.

Leo is kind to those that are kind to them. Scorpio is kind to those that have no underhanded motives as Scorpio is filled with mistrust. So just the fact that he (scorpio) is communicating with you is very telling. Scorpio generally moves slowly in relationships of all kinds. Due to their mistrust of others.

I too think that you are connected. There is something compatible in your synastry (compatibility charts of you both, one chart within the other chart) that is "causing" this Energy of Goodwill.

If someone passes a Leo's Inspection then he must be okay! And Leos are great in the entertainment industry, most often as a performer, not a backstage person. Leo radiates "fun" and being the life of the party. I know it isn't always that way for Leo but you aren't one to pour your sorrows out to just anyone. It isn't Leo's Way. The world IS a stage to Leo. (no wonder leo is the most particular about their personal appearance because the world IS Leo's Stage beginning from the moment they leave their door...impeccable appearance is leo)

Scorpio make loyal mates when their heart is really into another. Leo too. But Scorpio is often "brooding" and it might tend to "put a bushel basket over your rightful place in the spotlight."

Jealousy may be an issue too as Scorpio is highly jealous of their mate. It can become TOO jealous and one often has to leave that Scorpio Mistrust behind. Because it is so aggravating to be accused of things that you haven't done! (cancers do that too and i finally figured out that i should have had an affair as my first cancer mate was infidelity at its worst)

Scorpio doesn't like to reveal their personal history and Leo won't reveal anything that doesn't put them in a "good " light. So I feel that both of you will need some time to reveal your personal history and that isn't a bad thing. Not for Leo and Scorpio anyway.

So enjoy each other's company and as far as a birthday card goes, nothing that is too lovey-dovey for sure. Something funny and get a good quality card too. Scorpios are into "labels" and Leo is too for that matter! Leos rule romance so just go with the flow and I imagine the card will probably even POP out at you as you are looking. Go with your gut as it always leads us well.

Hope you two have a great relationship whether it advances into romance or you two become big names in the entertainment business. You both have the strong will needed for the brutality of the music business.
