The boys said what gets their attention, even though they find it really annoying, to put a lot of spaces in before you start typing or a lot of smiley faces. Harry said he retweets those usually even though, Liam added, they find it annoying. They like really funny, random tweets..so good luck!

If you wanna get a reply/follow Liam's your best shot because he replies and follows the most people out of the boys.

And the best time to tweet would be right after they do, because you know they are online. I get their tweets to my phone so it's easy for me to respond right away. Definitely don't spam them.. I think it'd be more annoying than anything.

Usually something funny or an interesting question would get their attention. For me, all i asked Liam was 'are you coming to california' ? right after he tweeted something else, and then all of a sudden he replied to me and followed me. it was kind of random. a lot of luck is involved too.

niall like never replies to anyone :T so i don't expect replies from niall haha. same for Louis & Zayn.. and Harry I suppose.

But yeah! just tweet whatever you feel like, i think quality over quantity is best.
