I really want a twitter how can I ask my mom for one ?

I recently became homeschooled so now I have no accesses to my old friends then I sat they were all on twitter and I really want to talk to them but you know those moms who like are.really careful with their kids well that's mine so how can I ask her for a twitter is there any compromise we can make like she gets my password and she can check it every Friday or something I've never given her a reason not to trust me like that drastically so please help
