What jobs can a person with a master's degree in applied sociology do?
What is the average salary for sociology jobs? What fields do most sociology graduates enter into? What are the practical applications for such a degree?

I doubt that many sociology majors work in their field.

To be honest, it was always the degree we made fun of when I was in college.

But I suppose that it might help for jobs in sales (even those that don't offer fries). Law school or an MBA are always a possibility if they want to learn somehting practical.
