Does cutting your normal sim down to a micro sim definitely work?
Want to cut my normal sim to fit an iPhone 4, will this definitely work? And is 500mb enough for browsing and twitter?

Don't do that go to newegg.com and order one for 15$ for a 16gb. If you can afford a iPhone 4 you can afford 15$

no, it won't work. iPhones need specific sim cards, their chips read differently.
500mb might not be enough, if you do those things on your phone several times a day. Depends on how much info the page needs t load (photos, music, streaming, etc). Once a day should be okay.
