How do you reply to a mention on Twitter?

I have connected Twitter to my phone so I can text (SMS) tweets and DM people. My mentions also come through, e.g @StayWithBeckyX how are you?
how do I reply to these? Xx

Scroll your mouse over the little arrow on the message, click it and reply

Just reply back with the @ symbol followed by their name. So if your name was BlueBill2999 it would be @BlueBill2999. Twitter clients or the web site will route it where it needs to be so the user will see it.
