TIRED OF VIRUS!!!!! What is the best low price defence :(?
ARGH the amount of times I've had virus' on this stupid laptop it's like it attracts them with a magnet from all over the world with a huge sign saying INFECT ME!!!!!!
I don't go on games websites, I only go on YouTube, Facebook, Gmail and Yahoo answers and google when I'm searching for something. Yet still it tells me that I have virus' Sad
I don't have one at the moment (for now) but I think I know ones gonna pop up in lets say about a few weeks because my laptop is retarded like that.
So I want to buy an antivirus that has protection against everything virus' throw at me. Trojans, worms THE LOT!!! I'm fed up of them and want them gone! But I don't want to pay hundreds I'm only 14 and barely have any money right now so is there anything around £30 that is effective and works. I've gone through AVG, Windows, avast (absolute pathetic I got the work load of virus' with this one with people trying to hack my emails and facebook), norton. EVERYTHING!!!!
All the free crap never works so I want something that can do the job and stop these assholes FOR GOOD! So I'm looking for
Around £30
Effective
Protection against most/all bad stuff
Lasts AT LEAST a year

Thank You and I look forward to your replys Smile
Yes I'm obviously going to look at Porn when I'm only 14 :/ seriously look at the details and think before you put retarded comments like that

Assuming most of your viruses come from the internet... It's highly recommended to install ZONEALARM INTERNET SECURITY SUITE. Also, keep a handy tool like MALWAREBYTES (Free) or SUPERANTISPYWARE (Free), to fight malwares that antivirus generally fails to detect. Don't worry, your computer will be in the hands of one the most advanced Security solution ever made !!

You need to make sure the Router security is setup correctly, windows is updated and then security starts with a quality web browser like Google Chrome with an ad-block extension. No anti virus paid or free will do much if the above things are not in first. An anti virus is just one layer of security and not a cure-all. If you need to spend money go with Malwarebytes Paid, after the 15 day trial and run it alongside any free anti virus you are comfortable using, Microsoft Security Essentials is good and easy to use. And just use the windows own firewall, because 3rd party firewalls usually cause trouble of their own.

What browser are you using; and are you getting free music, movies, and/or visiting porn?
Your browsing habits have a lot to do with what's allowed into the system, and all the paid protection in the world won't help if you intentionally permit or ask for, these items.
Please enlighten us...

In 3 easy steps
1 Make sure all your pc is fully patched, use this http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online/
2 Do all you internet based programs ( browser, email etc ) Using this http://www.sandboxie.com/ Any infections are simply deleted when you empty the box
3 Use this free program to take an image of your CLEAN pc. Store the image on another hard drive or several dvds, also burn the bootable disc. This way you can restore the most damaged/infected pc back to the clean image in about 20 mins http://www.paragon-software.com/home/br-free/

ALL FREE

Have you completely gotten rid of the virus's you had before? That might be the problem... to make sure there are no virus's do this:

download this to scan your computer, it’s the best virus remover you can get for free
http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebyt...i_malware/
(If link doesn't work type 'malware' in the search box and click on the first one ''malware bytes'')

It’s a reputable website that my internet company uses and this has helped me tons of times before. Download it (the latest version) and run it (it’s free) (you might have to disable your pop up blocker at the top of the screen when downloading, right click, download)
Perform quick scan (should take 10 to 20 mins)
View results
Remove all
(CLICK NO TO RESTART COMPUTER)
Go on quarantine (4th from the right column)
Then delete all
Then restart your comp

Another thing you could do that really helped me and made a big difference is change your internet settings slightly. Go on your internet page, tools, internet options, privacy and change it to medium high. Made a huge difference for me

Also make sure you have the latest updates available, go on control panel, windows updates and check for them as they help increase security.

Try these simple things then get something good like Macafee.

Hope this helps

I can tell you a really good free antivirus...it works BETTER than some of the PAID antivirus programs

try AVG Free

you have to go to google or bing and type up "AVG Free"
it's free and is NOT a trial and the license lasts FOREVER

download it and do a full scan on "my computer" and it should any viruses....also do a anti-rootkit scan, but DON'T DO ANYTHING WHILE RUNNING THE ANTIROOTKIT SCAN...
