Black Ops 2 match finding problem?

I got Black Ops 2 yesterday and whenever I try to join a public match, it says "An error occurred while trying to find a session, please try again" and I've tried multiple times. If anyone had this problem, can you tell me if you got rid of it? Thank you!

Heyy a lot of people have been having the same problem, mine is always freezing when trying to get into a game, they're working on trying to fix it so unfortunately there is nothing you can do until its fixed, I'm sure it won't be long though pretty rubbish not being able to play a new game though eh

Hey partner, the same thing is happening to me, and near as I can tell from the Activision, Treyarch, and BLOPS2 forums/ message boards, it's happening to thousands of other players as well.

I don't have a solution for you, but Treyarch did release a statement via Twitter, saying that they were tracking the issue, And were working towards a solution.

In the meantime, you should try out the "League Play" under Multiplayer. You won't rank up your weapons, but you will get XP towards your characters overall rank.
