I am losing faith in love... should i forget about finding it?
i am a young 20 yr old latino about to be 21
i am confident good looking an all around good guy
i have no problems talking to girl
i am a full time student studying to work in the filed of pharmacology
but the problem is that evey girl i've ever asked out on a date has said either "no" or "lets be friends 1st then will go from there." but it never does
only once did i "have a girlfriend" but later i found out i was just being used like a toy and she never real loved me nor cared about me
i know people say that there is someone out there for everyone but it seems like there's someone for everyone except me
and every time i get on fb twitter or check my email i see that either someone has gotten a bf or gf, gotten engaged, gotten married, given birth, or got pregnant
about 90% of my fb friends fit in to there but the other 10% dont becace they dont want a relationship
but i dont need a relationship but just the more i think about the more it hurts bc i would have thought by now i would have at least had a decent relationship, kissed a girl, hugged a girl, hell i've never even a girls hand i'm still a v...
i mean seeing my friends post just makes me feel pathetic bc i have never had those experiences
i sometimes catch myself think whats the point of trying to find someone, because it seems like that person just doesn't exist and now one of my best friends who i consider to be my younger sister just got engaged to her longtime bf after she gave birth to there son
and that just got me right on the edge of giving up on looking for love

Oh trust me... everyone can fall in love. I'm ugly and shy and even I was able to fall in love lol. You just have to relax and not worry about it. Falling in love hit me in the face like a train. It was sudden and unexpected. And of course he left me and broke my heart. And that was the worst experience of my life. (I'm doing better now). So being in love is amazing but if you lose it, it's horrible. And there are so many complications with love, dating, relationships, etc. it's not all it's cracked up to be. Just my opinion. I'm 21.

This is why I deleted my Facebook and all internet profiles.
Facebook is just a tool for people to brag, and in the end, it's not healthy for anyones' self-esteem at all.
I mean, look at the way you're feeling because you're being fed this crap each morning.
Some have it better, some have it worse. All of what you see is never decided by anyone, but by time and chance.
Your time is simply not the same as their time. Also remember that not everything that glitters is gold. People might seem like they're happy, but I'm willing to bet that many of them are experiencing downright morbid hardships in their lives or relationships/marriages.

I personally believe that life truly begins for people later on, like in their late 20's or throughout their 30's. Much of life before that is just a joke. Especially relationships. If you don't believe me, just look at the traffic on the singles and dating page.
Whatever you do, don't let desperation ruin who you are as a person. Stay true to good standards and never settle for less. Virgin or not, once sex happens, there isn't much of a difference.
Anyways, good luck.

You have to realize that the love of your life is probably in elementary school somewhere. .... Just saying..... You won't meet her until she's older.
