Is it illegal to upload public photos on Facebook to Twitter without the persons permission?
Let's just say, I stumbled across a load of footballers (HUGE Premier League stars) in a photo album on Facebook doing things that would get them in a lot of trouble with their clubs. The photos have been uploaded as public, meaning anybody that visits this persons profile can see all of the photos. Would it be illegal, considering they're set to public but have a private-life tone to them, for me to upload them to Twitter / my own Facebook?

You'd need permission. They may be publicly available, but still their property. You can link to the pictures but not copy them.

no because now there is a share button on FB so you can take a pic from them. If they have put it on a social website then its their own fault if someone finds it and maybe tries to sell it to paps.
(I sometimes go to my fellas ex FB and share pictures of their daughter she puts on there. She wont allow him to have any contact so fairs fair. If she don't like it, tough luck!! lol |
