Link building is a very broad term describing anything a webmaster does to point inbound hyperlinks back to one or more of their own websites. This can be done by posting comments in forums, submitting articles, submitting links to directories, posting links on social websites, etc.

Here I provides some steps:

1. Find and join Forums and Blogs that are related to the content of your site

2. Submit articles

3. Submit to website directories

4. Use Social Bookmarking

5. RSS Feed Submission

You should try to get social media links as well and build a strong profile for your website on google plus, facebook and twitter. Get followers and likes and +1's because these are very important factors for the SERP rankings since the Penguin update. You should buy a service for those, i found one user on Ebay that provides all those services in one pack. You should give it a go, the price is not that high.

Hope this helps you.

Do you have any kind of budget. As far as I can tell you already know a few things about SEO and promotion in general. Thing is, it takes a lot of time to learn this stuff and nothing is guaranteed if you are not an expert at this.

This is why I prefer buying such work, from freelancers, saves me a lot of time of working on my actual websites. Gig based websites are the best, you can get scammed and if you choose a sell with positive reviews everything should turn out great.
