Is this racism to me?

My friends are all following this really racist guy on twitter and retweeting his stuff. He calls black people the n word, and jokes about slavery and makes racist jokes about Obama. I am Republican and I am half black. My friends are nice to me, but why do they follow this guy and think it is funny? Is this racism to me? I don't look black, and i think they forget that I am part black....please help!

you probably shouldn't let this affect you too much. You know how bullying works? the whole " the more you care the more they bully you " logic. Try to laugh it off or something, change the topic etc if your friends mention the racism thing to you, don't be easily offended as it would make them feel weird and more cautious with you. Racist jokes are tasteless anyway, it'll probably die down after some time.
