New to Twitter, and really confused?!?
I just made a Twitter, and I have no idea what I'm doing! Can you just give me the basics? Maybe compare it to something like Facebook? And also, why do people put these signs before some stuff?: @ and #. Please help!!(: thanks so much!

@(insert name here) means that your talking to that person but be careful because everyone can see what you say.
A DM is a direct message...only the person you send it to can see it. when you put #(insert words here) it means youre saying something that maybe others are talking about and it turns blue and you can click on it and see if others are talking about it EXAMPLE: @Fox4 I really liked the #CaseyAnthony report. Its a little bit different from other websites but you'll get the hang of it. Good Luck! Ads |
