"I wish I could publish this on Twitter because it would only have to be 140 chars long lol...". ...I am reflecting upon the phenomenon of Facebook & Twitter, profile and networking sites I use... For each of the sites I will cover the attributes of a typical page, how it allows interaction, and to what end, I will summarise with a comment on how such sites have impacted the lives of people - what benefits and what possible shortcomings there are from time spent at a screen inputting & loading data, where clearly the five senses are a superior way of sampling all the reality around us in a world that may seem increasingly stood still as our lives throng instead to the sedentary pace of computers and the internet.... And then go for a basic understanding of each component aspect to a page and what site services do for the user - what is free, what costs and what is actually worth paying for if you are in fact up & running with no further charge after your ISP subscription... I've assumed it's a high school assignment, not an arts degree, and that it's relatively short and sweet - just a conclusive proof of english writing skills demonstrating an adept integration of our modern times' cultural theme.... ...In which case, each part of the sites that you use may only need a 'Twitter-size' comment/synopsis* and the rest is your personal account *Take a look at the Sky channel listings using the 'i' button - for each of these as a singular entity, your continuing essay is the programme it describes - go for technicolor Ads |
