So your twitter in box is full indefinitely?

I'm new to twitter. I've learned how to delete my own tweets. But from what I've seen, if you follow someone, you can never delete that message? I'm only following two accounts and I have hundreds in my timeline. How do I get rid of the ones I don't want to see or have read?

That's not how twitter works. There is no concept of an inbox. Your twitter page is more like a customized news page that shows the stories you are interested in. You don't delete the stories after you've read them.

I don't think you're ever supposed to delete things? You don't have to because there isn't an inbox on Twitter like on email.
