Communications essay topic?

I need a topic for a communications if anyone has any good ideas? Please and thankyou
This is an example my teacher gave me: " how Facebook has acted to blur the boundaries between private communication and public communication.”

You might like to consider the following before choosing your topic

1. define communication
2. look at different types of communication, modes and ways of communicating
3. focus on effect of technology communication has had on society
4. find examples to cite (facebook, twitter, ipad, mobile phone, email, skype)
5. consider your title, opening gambit for the essay.
6. consider if your statement is valid, are you arguing for or against, provide examples

Example: Has modern technology affected the way we communicate and is this a good thing.

The subject is wide ranging, just make a list, and rank in order of ease of reply, pick the best one and go for it to get good marks. Good luck. You could use Yahoo Answers as an example, and the sharing of multi knowledge on an open forum.
