Tumblr coz you can upload pics some video if you know HTML and you can add notes as well. But if you move with Twitter that is Social and you have limit of 140 words i think. in which you can give some reference that means traffic will redirects from your Twitter. But if you move with Tumblr then you can get lots of traffic and you can put notes and you can also add pic.

Twitter is not a blogging platform. Tumblr/ Wordpress/ blogger are some of the famous blogging platforms. Wordpress is the best one out of all.

I think tumbler is the best website to read or write a blog due to its tremendous popularity. Furthermore I too prefer tumbler to read a music blog but few days back I got 1 more hilarious website http://showamerica.com/blog/ you may prefer this too.
