What should i do i need advice?

there is this boy. he used to go out with this girl but they broke up but were still friends well me & him started talking & i was thinking that i should leave him alone bc the ex gf/bestfriend situation. well she got him locked up (long story) & so he started to hate her so i felt it was okay to talk to him so he gets outta jail & we are good we start tlkn & crushing on eachother but he violated his probation for going to jail the first time although it wasnt his fault so hes back in there. well he's been keeping in touch & so have i but i been on his ex twitter pg & shes been saying she misses him & mentioning him & stuff. im scared ill end up liking him too much & getting my heart broken again. should i leave him alone wen he gets outta jail.
