how do i tweet so someone in particular will see?

im new to twitter, and i'm following people (like SAM PEPPER!!!)
i want to send a message to him, and other people, so him/they will see,
how do i do this? :/

hi If you start your tweet with an @ and then the persons name for example ro tweet a celeb like Taylor Swift you would do this.

@taylorswift13 hi taylor!

Then it will go to her @ replies.

And other people only see it if they go to ur timeline.

If u write :

Hi Taylor ur awesome @taylorswift13

Then everyone who is following you will see it and it goes to her @ replies too.

You can reply or tweet lots of people at once

Just use the @ symbol type in the persons name and it goes to them.

If you are following someone and they follow you too, you can send them private messages via dm or direct message as its called and ONLY they will see it ever! But they have to follow u to do it, so it wont work with celebs. (unless that celeb follows u back).
