I had to draw something in my art class with nine symbols. I have never drawn before and wanted to see if im composing it right. does the piece flow together right? does it look weird? Does anything seam like its just floating there, doesn't make sense, or isn't drawn right with everything else?
The top left corner is a type of sun symbol and there are exclamation points going around it, the very top thing is an upside down buddhist, the bottom middle is the tree of life, above that is a hand, and above that is a pyramid of the all seeing eye.
Thanks for your opinion and help

I like how it's looking so far, but I think something could go in the bottom right corner, behind the musical symbols. You have a bit of empty space there.

*Actually I have to agree with martin here.

The drama masks rather dominate in terms of scale and tone.

Why did you choose these symbols? Is there a significance to the upsidedown buddha or the half-open door?

It seems to me that the symbols are not composed as such, there is a strong top right/bottom left emphasis but then there are several symbols sitting outside that flow.

You could roughly sketch out your elements and cut them them out, then use the cut outs to make you composition. You might also consider a pattern or geometric shape that could tie the objects together.

EDIT:
“Martin” is having a hissy ‘fit’ because I derided his use of quotation marks.

Anon O has an interesting point, unlike the other answerer, who is trying to sound like an art curator.
In fact,he sounds like a queasy undegraduate, scratching his pseudo-intellectual pimples.
I like your picture.Martin.
