How can I tell if a girl likes me through facebook messages?

I've been talking to this girl on facebook for awhile because we don't see each other in school alot. We occasionally talk in school so I don't have problems with that.She's really nice and stuff so I can't tell on person. I want to to know how I can tell if she likes me through how she response to my messages.

I guess it would be a bit harder to tell via Facebook, but you might also look at HOW often and HOW quickly she answers your messages or status updates. That would tell me if she was "waiting" to see what you are up to, or is curious about who you are about. Otherwise, I would ask her some questions in your messages, get to know her a bit, and then ask her out on a group date or some other fun activity. Good luck!

You can't. What you type and what she types can be interpreted in any number of ways.

I mean, I could write here, "You sound like a really cool guy, and I'd like to get to know you better" ... but do you know if I really mean that, or if I'm being sarcastic, or if I'm trying to hurt your feelings? No. Text doesn't contain tone and emotion, so you never know.

Ask her for her phone number and ask if it would be okay if you called her. If she says yes, she likes you enough to talk to you -- so make good on your offer and call her up. You'll know a lot more that way.

No, but if you guys are consistently messaging back and forth, she's probably into you. Next message, slip in a casual, "hey, I'm going to see Transporter 3 on Friday if you want to come along".
