Why am I so afraid to make a facebook?

Most people are moving to twitter now a days anyway, but for some reason I'm soo afraid to make a facebook... I feel like putting my pictures up for everyone to see is so scary for me and I feel like I'll be judged all the time... Everyone I know has a facebook, and I think i'm just about the only one that doesn't have one... even my grandmother has one.

How do I get over it? Is it really that scary?

Watch the people that comment on your photos and make sure they aren't freaks. Or make a private account.

Nah its not scary. Just don't become friends with anyone in there who you think will cause arguements or be mean on your page.

You don't have to make one if you don't want to. And you can always put a picture of your pet or some special symbol to you (ex. cross if you are Christian) instead of a picture of you. So don't give in to the "peer pressure" if you don't want to make one. I just keep mine because I can keep close to friends and family I never get to see, but otherwise I wouldn't have one. Just do whats comfortable for you

You can always make certain pictures available to to public and others in private until you have the confidence to show to everyone. Facebook is just to keep everyone in touch and not EVERYONE has one. I also recommend not putting inappropriate pictures up because you never know who will see them.
I recommend doing it and just testing the waters. You can always delete the account..

you can lock it. i have it so only the people i approve can see anything more then my profile picture(only the one i have posted)

everything else is locked up
