Anybody else hate the "seen" thing on facebook?

Or am I the only one? It seriously sucks because now people I don't feel like talking to can message me, "hello, it says you saw my message?"

Do you know if there's any way to disable it?

I agree I hate it to, and I haven't found a way to disable it....... however I can just avoid it....... my iPod touch also shows me the messages lol... so i just look at my ipod, see the message and who its from, and if its someone I don't wanna talk to, I simply don't click the message in facebook lol... also if your on facebook and someone messages you the chat box should come up, you should see the chat screen kind of flashing going from light blue to regular blue, something like that, if you don't click on the chat box at all, then it wont mark the message as "seen" then just make your way to the x on the chat thing, click it, done...
