It's not your phone that's the problem. Just switch tariffs (e.g Orange, o2 etc) & you'll be fine. BlackBerry's are awful anyway. So overpriced for such bad quality. The only reason why they sell is because of how they look and all the hype about them.

Yeah, just like everyone else is saying, its not the phone brand, its the carrier that you are using. No matter what phone you switch to, you are going to get the same signal.

iPhones are not crap, but they're not perfect. I just got my iPhone5 a month ago. Owning every generation of iPhone (I was a fan) I loved them. I thought they were the coolest. But my phone seems slower than my old 4s and it turns off constantly. You tube videos don't work on my 4g LTE data plan. It has been freezing frequently and zooming in to type and fix mistakes is a pain, the magnified curser acts all drunk like its crazy... Major pain!!!. Maybe it's just this one iPhone. But some friends have noticed that the service isn't great either. I don't like having an iPhone compared to the new Samsung note 2 :'( it makes me want to switch so bad. The only thing good about iPhones are: music player, camera & good looks. Everything else is just boring now. I have no hate towards iPhones. It's maybe because I'm just bored of the same thing. They are great phones but its time for change. And I'm not really into the blackberry. They suck but you should really check out the Note 2! It looks pretty cool! I'm switching from my iPhone5 to the note asap. &&& you should to!
Sorry for ranting but I hope this helped a little Big Grin

iPhone's are brilliant....... try changing your phone provider......... I usually find "Vodafone" or "O2" are the usually the first 2 you can get a signal from anywhere, no matter where you are, whereas with others such as ORANGE I've heard plenty of stories of people having to go for a bit of a wander in the hope of getting a signal

If you go into Settings > Network Selection
Switch it from "Automatic" to "Automatic = Off" - once you do that the phone will do a scan and show you which Carriers are available in the area you're in.

Sometimes I also find if I go into Settings > General > Network
I find that sometimes I get a better signal with 3G enabled, and other times with 3G disabled.

Trust me, don't get a Blackberry, they're absolutely cack........ I know of many people who've had theirs go totally knackered within a month or two......... one of my facebook friends was having a right old rant about 'em in her status earlier this week.

iPhone4S is one of the absolute best and most reliable phone's you can get.... iPhone4 before it wasn't so great (signal issues), with many reviews saying the iPhone3GS before it (which is what I've got) was still superior........ http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/smartphon...-iphone-4s
