How many Webkinz were there ever made?

I used to use Webkinz and I have 59 Webkinz. But I was on Facebook looking at the fan page for it. One person commented ''My friend has every one ever come out'' How many are there anyways?

I have no idea what the exact number might be, but I know for a fact that there are at least 100 different kinds!

if i remember right, there are about 288 but of course it changes every month or so.
