Is this a good reason to stay single?

A buddy of mine is engaged to his girlfriend, today I briefly looked at her facebook and under her recent activity she had "liked" various male models and actors that she thought were hot. This really annoyed me because it's like, isn't your fiance good enough for you? apparently not.

And that's one reason why I want to remain single, because I know if I have a girlfriend or wife, she's just going to drool over other men anyways, so might as well avoid it altogether.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest that my girlfriend has a crush on Benedict Cumberbatch. He's a celebrity. I'd have to be pretty irrationally jealous to get bent out of shape over something like that.

No, that's not a good reason. So... when you have a gf, you don't look at attractive women and are somehow magically not attracted to them as long as you are dating? The knife cuts both ways. Also, that seems like you are trying to justify your insecurity. Try dating a stripper and sit at the bar while guys drool all over her, and have the guys sitting next to you tell you that they are going to take your gf home with them because they don't know you are their bf.
