Okay, so i went to this race yesterday (It was a 10k run) and there was this guy about my age, like a year older, and he won the race. Well he's realllyyyy cute and I've seen him before because i was on cross country and at the meets a bunch of different school compete against eachother. So, when i got home a couple hours later, I sent him a friend request on facebook because we have about 40 mutual friends so i didnt think it would seem too weird. Well like 5 hours passed and he hadn't accepted it yet. My stepmom (She was like the person who made the race) got a friend request from him and he messaged her about the race today. So i went and canceled my friend request because it seemed like he didn't want to be friends with me I though, since he had been on since i sent it to him and requeted my stepmom... Was that the right thing to do? Should I friend him again.. or would that be too creepy? Help

Request him again and wait a little longer, a couple of days perhaps, depending how frequently he uses Facebook and then you'll know for sure.

If there is anyway that you could see him again, you should start to make small talk with him, you know, like school, classes, sports, movies, etc. Then like an hour after you see him, you should friend him, and he would remember talking to you, and accept. Trust me, this works! Hope this helps!

Maybe he doesn't know you, you should maybe talk to him first then once you guys get to know each other a bit more then ask him on Facebook again

Just send the Friend request, It wont be weird because you don't really know him. If you don't take the risk then you'll regret it later.
