Can I get the police involved in this in any way even though their facebooks are low on info?
I have friends added on facebook and a friend and I recently found out that 3 of her friends (guys) are very mean people. They won't listen to my friend when she asked them to stop. What happened is they stole pics of me from my facebook (probably looked for a random target on her friends list and it was me) and they edited the pics in a very rude/inappropriate manner and put rude captions. Probably used photoshop. Then posted them all over the internet (different internet sites). My friend told them to stop but they wouldn't listen and when I told them to they were all snobby and wrote a message like "awww are you butthurt you dumb *****? Do you need to go to bed, granny?" etc. What sucks is their facebooks have these weird made up names and no info on where they live or their phone number or email, etc. They barely have stuff on their facebook. What to do about this?
I don't have them on my facebook, I said they must have targeted me from my friend's friend list, and because of this dumb timeline I can't seem to set things privately.

There is nothing in what you've written that is a matter for the police. You can try to report it to Facebook and get their accounts removed.

You should probably just delete your facebook account and move on with life.

Unfortunately, when you post something of Facebook, anyone can steal it. I would recommend reporting them. Facebook is really good about taking care of people who do things like that but sadly, that's not going to stop them from just creating a new account.
