How come facebook changed 'become a fan' to 'like' and then back to 'become a fan' again?

They changed it so you couldn't 'become a fan' you could just 'like' fan pages. Now they've changed it back to 'become a fan'

I think that they did it just to test to see how it works, and clearly everyone hated it.

I haven't been on facebook lately, but a friend of mine sent me an invitation to the group "we want the become a fan button back". I don't know much about this, but I'm guessing it's because a lot of people hated it. Even though I haven't seen it for myself, I would be pissed to see that.

Hey, if what I said was true, then at least facebook listens to their users. Did you see that new youtube? Yeah, no one likes it, and Google won't change it back.

become a fan is different from like. When you become a fan you see the postings of the group or page you became a fan of. Like means you like the page or the group or whatever is being advertised. You can like someones comments you can not become a fan of a friends comments.
