First off, caps lock isn't necessary. That will usually lead people to avoid your question. There's nothing you can really do for him except to support him when he realizes how stupid his actions are. He needs to learn to let go, there's really nothing you can do to help him until he calms down and thinks about what he's doing.

Tell him to grow a pair and to chill out. He's a dude and he's showing more emotion than his freaking GF or EX.

Here's what you should do:
Stop helping him
Be blunt with him
Tell him he's acting like a little b(tch over a girl that no longer wants him anymore!
(Trust me, I know, his EX left him for that same reason. He also sounds very desperate, clingy, and odd; the worst turn-offs a woman can receive.)
Tell him to research "friend zones" and how dudes put themselves in there and to also look up how to get the hell out...for good.
Refer him to sites that show how a real man should act towards the ladies.
Or give him your most honest and bluntest opinions on how you would've wanted to be treated if he was your ex BF.
