Why would a guy ignore you on Facebook? Please help?

I'll try to make this short. There's this guy that has liked me for three years and I found out he liked me recently. He's really sweet and nice and cute, and I once told him I liked him back. Everything was good for a while, but then we had an argument over a small thing and I apologized and I thought everything was fine between us because he forgave me and all. I asked if he was okay being just friends for right now and he agreed. But next thing I know, I find out that he blocked me on Facebook and he wasn't responding to my messages either. It's been two weeks. I knew for a fact that he was on his Facebook recently, because he has a lot of recent activity, but he hasn't replied to my message. Do you think he's avoiding me? I can't call him and ask him because I don't have his number and I haven't seen him recently so I couldn't talk to him in person either. Any idea why guys do this? The way I see it, he has enough time to do other stuff on Facebook, but not enough time to reply. What should I do?

Oh and I know it's not a matter of computer glitches or all that. I sent him another message asking him why he isn't replying. I'm trying not to appear desperate to him, but it's really hard because it's like he cut off all contact. Am I overthinking this?

yep ur overthinking this.. i think u should give him some space.. he's probably unsure of his feelings (eg. likes you and wants more but cant tell u) there could be many reasons ik its hard to do but just stop contacting him and wait for him to contact you and tell u what he really wants.. either wait for him or wait a while until u see him some where.. being ignored sucks.. i went thru it multiple times but sometimes you just have to let go and see if that person wants to be with u as much as u want to be with them

Give him a chance and do not send anymore messages to him. Try and wait until you meet him face to face, because don't bother wasting your time if he's not replying.

He could be avoiding you, and you could be going through a rough patch. But mayby forget about him for a while, because he is being completely rude when your trying to find out what's wrong with your FRIEND and he is not replying and blocking you. Mayby it's time to rethink your friendship, because he is not really a friend by doing this
