Acoustic guitar stringing help?!!?

I know how to remove and put on the strings but I got confused when I was reading the string packaging. Because it looks like certain strings need to go In certain places on the guitar. Is this true? Or can you place the strings at random on it?

Yes indeed, each string has a specific location. Basically, if this is a standard right handed model--the fattest string goes on top and they get progressively skinnier as you go down. Hopefully you bought the strings as a set. If so, you shouldn't have any problem figuring out which is which.

Yes, it makes a difference what order you put the strings in. I'm sorry, I actually don't have a twitter account, and I don't want one. I waste enough time on YA!
