How to tell my ex I still like him?

I really really miss him. It's been 2 weeks and I can't stop thinking about him and can't stop crying. I've asked his two best mates if he had moved on and they both said no and it's obvious he's upset. We broke up for what I heard 3 reasons:
The distance
We hit a rough patch
He liked someone else

He broke up with me. I need to tell him for i feel but I don't know how help me please. I can't see him in person so need to Facebook or text it or sonething. Please

If he liked someone else then you are just going to get hurt worse. I know it hurts now but it gets easier. Take time for yourself.

I'm going through the same thing, but we went out for almost 3 years . Now he is with a new girl because he liked her .
It hurts a lot , but stay up . Be strong I know it's hard but time heals the pain.
