Should I be friends with this girl again?

There is this girl who lives right next to me and I knew she hated me for the longest time. We were even kind if friends for awhile (years ago) but even then I knew she hated me, so we stopped hanging out. And whenever she saw me she always gave me a dirty look and she'd always ignore me. Well, over the summer I saw her a few times and things were a lot different and she made a few jokes with me and we talked a little and stuff and it all seemed okay. But now it's winter and we don't see eachother at all anymore cause we don't go outside as much (at the same time anyway) but right after the last time I talked to her she asked a mutual friend for my phone number so she could talk to me sometime but he didn't give it to her and I figured if I saw her again I'd just give it to her then but then I didn't. and so last night I saw her as a suggestion on Facebook and so I added her. But then I was regretting it because idk if she's really a nice person. (i don't care about the friend request.. It's the fact that if we're friends on Facebook, she'll probably want to start talking to me and stuff again on there) We weren't really that close when we were friends before, but she was a snob all the time. And i don't really want to become friends with someone who is like that if shes no different. It's been like 4 years since we've been friends. Do you think I should try becoming her friend? It'd be nice having a friend in the neighborhood.. But idk.
