How did fans get one direction to follow them?

Ok so on twitter, fans have one direction to follow them, and I'm like so JELOUS of them how do they get one direction to follow them, I mean this girl that followed me has one direction following her, and I mean all of them, so I asked her she's like maybe later, but she never did, and I just want one direction to follow me, PLEASE HELP, and if one direction followed you can you DM them about me, PLEASE my twitter name is @salina606

well most of us tweeted them a while back, probably in like 2010. i tweeted them in 2010 not even expecting a follow back and they just followed me. just don't ask people, because it's really annoying...

change to a 1D account, gain followers, make twitter friends and then just ask people to RT your tweets to the boys when they're online..

Try to tweet them often- ask them questions, or say good morning, and sometimes they will reply and follow. It's best to do this when they are online on twitter- which you know because they are tweeting. There's no specific time that they go online, but usually you'll find Liam and Niall online in the morning- UK time. In Canada, that's about 12am...

Also, sometimes they go on following sprees. When this happens, its best if you unfollow them and quickly follow them again, because then you have a better chance of being noticed.
