Why would a photo on Facebook show more likes than people listed who liked it?
Would a deleted account explain it? If someone liked the post then deactivated their Facebook afterwards?

Possibly. Or if you made it viewable by more than just your friends, it could have been seen by someone who doesn't allow their likes to be listed.
