When a girl writes love lyrics on her Facebook?

One of my good friends posted this on Facebook as her status last night:

"Remember we promised our love wouldn't end,
We'd gather all people and love them as friends.
My spirit will be with you to light up your way,
I love you, what more can I say."

She usually never writes song lyrics or poems or anything of the sort as her statuses. This is the first time I've ever seen her do it. Why would she post something like this?
