Why did many people move from MySpace to Facebook?

Why does it seem like Facebook became more popular & liked?

Not aware of this. I have a large number of friends on my Music page, and a good number on my personal page - some have gotten a Facebook in addition to their MySpace, but nobody has actually quit MySpace

Can't answer for anyone but myself but I switched because the pages load faster. Too many people on myspace dress up the profile pages with a ton of crap that takes forever to load! lol ;p

Facebook is more private without all the ads and commercialization punching you in the face. Also, the facebook server is larger and capable of hanling more people. Also, with the addition of playfish, the games that sponsor facebook are now monopolizing the gaming industry, moving more people onto facebook just to be able to participate in games their friends are able to play.

Because on MySpace there was F all to do apart from comment your friends birds-eye-view photographs taken in a public toilet. Facebook has better features, a better layout, smoother user experience and less advertising. It does not surprise me that MySpace loses users each day.
