How do you add a like button to your page on Facebook?

Ok, I created a page on Facebook, but would like to add a like button. I can't seem to figure that part out. Can someone please give me step-by-step directions for it. I know how to get the part to copy the code, but don't know where or how to add the code to my page. Please help!
