What does a facebook page creator see when I become a fan of their page?

When someone makes a page that people "like" or a group people can join, what does the creator of the page see when a fan likes or joins their page?

Can they see my whole profile or does it give them the basic one people who I haven't added as friends can see. I was just wondering...and is there a security section for this or not?

They don't see anything. They can only see what you let them see. They don't even get a notification that you joined. Just an email once a week saying how many people joined this week.
