I'd like to add a button similar to the facebook like button, but not use the actual facebook like button?
I'm going to create a website to support a cause, and I'd like to be able add some sort of "like" or "I support" button, but not using the facebook like button. The reason for this is the demographic I'm targeting is likely to not have a Facebook account. Any help is appreciated

You can do this easily with a web programming language, without relying on any external APIs (Like Facebook's).
