How to restore Dell Inspiron N5110?
I wish to restore my laptop to the default factory setup. I have tried the steps written on the Dell website, but they do not work. I press f8 before the Windows logo appears and enter Advanced boot options. When I select repair system, it just starts up Windows 7 like normal. It doesn't go into repair options. Any help to restore my laptop will be greatly appreciated. I have already made a backup.

Hi Mohammed,

My name is Vijay and I work for Dell Social Media

Team.

Please perform below mentioned steps:

1. Remove battery and disconnect adaptor.
2. Press and hold the power button for 1 min.
3. Try to go in advanced boot menu with adaptor plugged in.
4. Select "Repair Your Computer" and check if it works.
5. If issue persists then download latest BIOS from http://www.support.dell.com and again try restore.

Hope it works...
