Do girls date younger guys as often as guys date younger girls?

Going to try and make this short. Basically i've noticed whether it be online through facebook, skype chats etc or in real life (since my cousin is 25 and we live in NYC so we are always out and there are so many college students) that i would be talking to a girl whos in college or more and everything is going good, i can tell she is feeling it until i mention i'm 16. All of the sudden i get this "you are a child" kind of look though i'm absolutely sure if i said i was 19 or 20 they would still be interested. Everything is different after that and i don't get it. I know loads of 15-17 yr old girls go out with college guys or more. Is it not like that for women?

I'm the same guy they seemed to like before its just now that they know i'm 16 its as if i'm different and its getting annoying. People are telling me its because girls mature faster and like older guys but the thing is everything is fine until they find out my age.

Girls like older men because they are more mature then guys our own age. Guys don't truly grow up until they get married and have kids. That's one reason why alot of women fall Inlove with married men. So I would think there are more guys dating you get women.

It just odd for college girls to date high school guys. If you were 19 and the girl was 25 then it would be a bit different. Younger girls is totally different...guys don't seem to discriminate as much, and yes, typically females do mature faster---at least according to research.

It really depends on the situation, brother. We girls have different preferences when it comes to men. But for me, I believe that age doesn't matter.
