Seriously, I just had a discussion with someone that thought that way. I tried to have a rational discussion with the person but she deleted me off of her Facebook fan page without addressing any of the points that I've made.

I seriously don't get people these days.

Well, I think it depends on whom you ask.
I eat meat and anyone who really knows me will tell you I am not violent or evil and have a very caring heart.
But... a vegan once posted that anyone who eats meat doesn't know what love is. Smile

No that's ridiculous. I mean, it's the circle of life! And while one of the reasons people choose to not eat meat is because of the cruel abuse and method of killing that they use for factory farming, it doesn't mean that you're a bad person if you still eat meat. I guess it just means that you don't really care enough about where your meat comes from or you just don't really think about it.

that's ridiculous. meat gives you protein and is healthy. Crazy vegan freaks will say anything to protect their beliefs. eating meat can't make you any more aggressive than what you are.

That's how 'morals' work, really.
Who knows, maybe one day people will look back at us as barbaric for eating meat; I mean, if you went back to the year 1000 and told someone that slavery would be outlawed, gays could get married, people could 'vote', and that included 'women,' they'd think you were just as crazy.

I am vegan, i dont believe people who eat meat are evil, they are ill-informed about nutrition and conditioned by society that they need to eat meat. Many of my friends and family eat meat and i do not judge them. I believe eating meat is wrong but i dont force my beliefs on others and accept them for who they are.

That is very stupid of her. Some vegans/vegetarians are crazy. It is in almost all animal's basic DNA to want to eat other animals. We need meat to be healthy.
