Disabling posts such as joining a group or liking on facebook?

I know that if you join a group on facebook or like something it appears in the newsfeed. How do you disable that?

For example, when I join a group or like something, what do I have to do so it won't show up on the newsfeed? I like my privacy and I find it annoying that it just puts it in there - anyone got any ideas or is it just undoable?

Just go to setting, where you can find settings for privacy.
You can edit the applications, whereas you can delete. And edit the privacy setting itself will help you to block the wall post from the groups you have joined.
