Why does it feel like I got punched in the eye?

You need to see an ophthalmologist right away. If you cannot get an appointment for today or tomorrow, go to an emergency room. While I don't know if your condition is serious, it is something that should be checked out. What has happened to your eye is rare. It could be a sign of a more serious condition than a black eye.
