There's no vaccine or medication for AIDS. There can only be prevention by awareness.
These are some methods to avoid :
1. Dont use the already used syringes, razors, blades etc.
2. Dont go to brothels!
3. Dont be in sexual contact with a person who already has AIDS

NO.
Abstinence is 100% effective. If you can't live without sex then condoms are the only contraceptives that can help prevent it, but it's not 100%.

Don't share needles/blood products with others.

A Directioner,
Briefly, NO! Because AIDS is not a virus and AIDS cannot be ‘caught’ from another person or any article, it is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). HIV destroys a type of defence cell in the body called a CD4 helper lymphocyte. These lymphocytes are part of the body's immune system, the defence system that fights infectious diseases. But as HIV destroys these lymphocytes, people with the virus begin to get serious infections that they normally would not — that is to say, they become immune deficient. The name for this condition is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, which is what the initials A-I-D-S stand for. The aim should therefore be in preventing HIV. For this reason, researchers are trying to find ways of preventing HIV. To quote just one example, the Geneticist Dr. Stephen O’Brien has discovered that some European people have a mutated gene that prevents HIV from invading their white blood cells. (More on this subject can be seen at his link - http://tiny.cc/3r5mow).

ALL ANSWERS SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY RESEARCHED, IN ANY FORUM AND ESPECIALLY IN THIS ONE. - MANY ANSWERS ARE FLAWED.

It is extremely important to obtain an accurate diagnosis before trying to find a cure. Many diseases and conditions share common symptoms.

The information provided here should not be used during any medical emergency or for the diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition. A licensed physician should be consulted for diagnosis and treatment of any and all medical conditions.

Hope this helps

No, there isn't any vaccination for HIV/AIDS.

And, Matador 89, your answer is correct but it's slightly confusting.

I think what you were trying to say is AIDS is the name of the disease, and Human Immunodeficiency Virus--HIV--is the name of the virus which causes AIDS. Other than this, your answer was spot on.

As for not getting the HIV virus, it's imperative a person have safe sex at all times. Using condoms is important, but if it breaks the protection is lost. Using a dental dam is also important.

A person should never be in contact with anyone's blood, by way of using used needles or by any other manner.

And, yes,, Matafdor 89, some of the answers given in this forum are clearly flawed. One must take care when having any kind of medical problem and seeing a physician is always the best answer..
