Can someone give me a brief lesson on how to use facebook?

I recently got rid of my myspace and got a facebook and I'm so confused about what pages, fans, friends of the day, blah blah blah.. Can someone give me a brief overview of everything and how I can get comfortable with facebook like I did with myspace? Thanks.

There are groups and things on facebook. You can become a fan. For example: Jack has become a fan of Michael Jackson. They are just little things that can define you.

Friends of the Day are like apps on an ipod. They just keep you occupied i guess. There are also game apps which past time.

Things on Facebook like status's show how you feel at the moment. The little things define who you are and past the time. Like groups and apps.
